It is an exciting time for IMCO! Take a drive by our location in the Cedar Park business park, off 795 in Perrysburg Township. You'll see that we are in the midst of a significant expansion. This expansion will provide us with a state-of-the-art facility that will support our goal of becoming the largest end mill manufacturer in the United States within five years. We plan to hire upwards of 80 individuals in a variety of roles over the next two - three years to ensure we accomplish this goal.

We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to join our Logistics / Warehouse Team as a Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, 7a - 4:p (hour lunch). This position is benefit eligible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the full-time IMCO Warehouse Associate is to receive on-site finished goods from production, process into computerized inventory system, and place finished goods in proper place within the warehouse.

Other warehouse duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist at on-site and off-site warehouses to accurately store or retrieve items
  • Pick/Pull items to fill customer orders
  • Verify items against customer purchase order
  • Package items appropriately to prevent damage during shipment
  • Process and print invoices, when necessary
  • International Shipping
  • Handle internal overnight requests
  • Assist with inventory or cycle counts, as requested
  • Assist with and/or monitor the loading / unloading of items from other delivery vehicles, including semi-trucks, as requested
  • Ability to use a forklift to assist with loading / unloading or moving of a variety of items too large to move by hand, as requested
  • Interaction with shipping carriers
  • Acceptable attendance practices

General expectations and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Read and comply with the policies contained in the IMCO Employee Handbook, including any revisions or addendums made part of the Handbook
  • Understand and comply with the company's operating philosophy, policies, and procedures
  • Report harassment or knowledge of harassment, either direct or indirect, to a supervisor, manager, or Human Resources
  • Adhere to attendance policy, understanding the consequences for non-adherence
  • Observe all safety rules and regulations including wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Work as a member of a team to meet the requests and expectations of our clients/customers.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills that allow for proper information exchange.
  • High school diploma or GED required

Forklift certification or experience preferred - training and certification will be provided

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position requires regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Other requirements are:

  • The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an effective manner
  • Ability to move about safely within the warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift and carry items of varying weight not to exceed 70 lbs.

The Warehouse Associate position will work in a variety of settings, including the following:

  • A warehouse area, which may have moderate noise levels and has climate control.
  • A production area, where there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. This area has moderate noise and has climate control.
